Margit and Marcos
We first met Margit during our "trip of a lifetime" to Tuscany several years back. Jacqui and I were eating in a local family style restaurant and the couple to our left were complaining about Italian coffee not being as good as Dunkin Donuts. We looked to see who was sitting to our right and there was Margit. Several carafes of wine flowed over dinner and then we went continued the discussion over a few more bottles in a piazza bar.
Since then Margit has been to the US three times to visit with us. This time, she was accompanied by her beau - Marcos - who she presented to us. He is clearly in love with her and they are as happy as any couple we've met (except for us).
