Finch Eggs Hatch
The eggs that are in the bird's nest above our door hatched over the weekend and three new hatchlings are alive and well. It looks like Momma Finch laid 5 eggs. One was a dud and one of the newborns did not make it, leaving three baby birds.
Right now, they look like three feathery blobs until Momma or Daddy show up with some food. Then they stick their heads up in the air, mouths wide open to receive food. Once fed, back to sleep.
